Balance Your Chakras By Eating These Foods

what are chakras

Those that choose to adopt a vegan diet do so for many different reasons. Ethical, environmental, and health are the most common. But what if you could control your spiritual well-being with the food that you eat? Keeping your chakras balanced can be a challenge when you are vegan, but with a few tips, your chakras will be aligned and balanced.

What Are Chakras?

Originating in some of the oldest writings in India, chakras are the areas of your body through which energy flows. If you test your chakras and find them out of balance, try some of the following diet tips:

Root Chakra

When you feel out of energy and unmotivated, add red foods such as tomatoes, beets, and strawberries to stimulate your root chakra. Consuming red foods in the morning can provide a better boost than coffee.

Sacral Chakra

A sign that your sacral chakra is unbalanced is if you have found yourself with a lack of creativity, short of love to give, or difficulty finding confidence. Amend this by adding orange foods such as sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash.

Solar Plexus Chakra

If you’re feeling sad and need something to bring you back to your normal self, eat the foods colored like the sun! Yellow foods such as bananas, pineapple, and corn will give the lift back to where you know you should be.

Heart Chakra

Resentment and anger come from a closed heart chakra. Fortunately, if you are vegan, green foods will be easy to find. Head for the kale and broccoli to balance your heart chakra.

Throat Chakra

Communication is so important in relationships and work. The trouble with this will cause trouble in other areas. Balance your throat chakra with blueberries and plums and allow your true voice to be heard.

Third-Eye Chakra

Devotion and wisdom originate from the third-eye chakra. Eat purple vegetables such as eggplant and grapes to let the energy flow through your third-eye.

Crown Chakra

Connecting with a higher power or your higher-self allows us to ground ourselves spiritually. Open the crown chakra with light meals like salads and give thanks to each meal before you eat.

Keeping your chakras balanced can be a challenge when you are vegan, but with some thought and patience, you can be sure the energy will flow freely through your seven chakras.
